There's nothing quite like a scene that's physically exhausting to write. It was only about 2000 words, but I think I need a lie-down after that. Oy. And I thought the drowning scene was harrowing to write. Apparently being nearly splattered by a hippogryph is even more intense.

loki_of_sassgaard: Harry Lockhart covering his eyes in frustration with "*Facepalm*" written over top. (This is exhausting)
I am so unbelievably cross right now. Robin Hood just got off the phone with the vet. The cats were not fixed, and it will cost an additional $700 in order to get them ready to be, plus the $300 to get them fixed.

Yeah, we can't afford this. Papa Bear was going to pay to get them fixed, but in no way in hell will I ask him to pay that much. Turns out Dexter requires surgery to be neutered, and they wouldn't fix Cosmo because of a problem with his eye. So, basically, we're back to not being able to keep them. Augh I am so cross it's not even funny.

I've set myself a goal of 365,000 words for 2016, either fanfic or original fic. I'll update this as I think to.

I'm also aiming for a million words overall:

902,870 / 1,000,000
(90.29%)
