I feel like I just made an illegal cat deal

We had to go down to the vet and hand the cats over to the humane society worker in the car park, so she could go sign them into the clinic. The woman we're working with runs a charity for this sort of thing, so all of the paperwork is in her name, and she can only deal in cash.

So at 8am, in the rain, we rock up to a Wallgreens car park, exchange $200 cash and two cats in carriers. It was probably the weirdest thing I've ever done.
