Spent all day yesterday watching movies with Sophie. She'd seen them all already; I'd only seen Megamind. We also watched Wreck-it Ralph, which was adorable. Then we watched Django Unchained, which was not. I just have one question about Django: Why does Leonardo DiCaprio not have an Oscar yet? Seriously, because dang.
On Friday, Robin Hood and I went out for a birthday thing at Voodoo Doughnuts. It's basically the epitome of hipster Portland, but it was fun. My phone was also misbehaving in in the most hilariously useful way I've ever seen. I have no service on my phone. Haven't since January. But I keep it charged because it's an iPhone and still hella useful even on Wi-Fi. It's what we use for directions in Portland, because it's a lot better than printing stuff off and hoping you don't miss a turn. Except, now, even without service of any kind, it was still able to know where we were. I was looking at it to see which exit we needed, and lo! that little blue dot was just trucking it down the 5. We were far away from any Wi-Fi at all, and it followed us all the way to Voodoo, and then all the way home. I don't even understand, but it certainly helped when we did, indeed, miss a turn, as well as getting us back home since I couldn't reverse the directions.
Otherwise, I'm having an extreme attack of can't be arsed to do anything productive. Boo.
(This may not crosspost to LJ, as LJ seems to be having problems.)
