Yeah, okay
Dec. 13th, 2014 09:46 pmI've not really been around the last few days. A combination of multi-county power-outages, having the baby over on a day when we weren't supposed to have the baby, and the OH SHIT rush of realising I have less than 15 days to finish my Christmas presents means I've been kind of scrambled the last few days. I've got a couple of December Post Meme posts to do, including one that I'd planned on making a bit pic-spammy, but that's too difficult and I'm too lazy. I'm gonna start on them again tomorrow, and just sort of do one a day until I catch up. Luckily, I have enough blank spots still that it'll probably happen sooner rather than later.
When I'm done with them all, I'll post pictures of my Christmas gifts, though. I don't have the time to do all the ones I'd hoped to do, so I'm just settling on my younger brothers and my grandmother. We've already got all the shopping done for the kids, and I may go out and get my mum some new kitchen stuff, since hers is all a wreck. The sieve is pretty much held together by hope, since she has a nasty habit of leaving the plastic sieve on the hot pans on the stove, and yeah. Probably gonna get a nice metal one for her, and hope I can finish her blanket in time. I probably can't. Oh well.
Also, I appear to have signed up for a writing challenge, and pledged 50,000 words for this month. I do not remember doing this. I think I'm just going to pretend that I didn't. lmao

I gave myself the same goal that I tried to set for myself this year, but I failed horribly in the wake of homelessness, early babies, house fires, and other assorted family drama. Which, this year's post-Christmas recap post is going to be a doozy. 2015 can't come quick enough.
