SO close to done

After having the sort of day where I couldn’t get up the energy to do anything more than stare at the wall, I’m going to try to get some ficcing done tonight.  I want to try to finish Isla Nublar, because I’m very nearly done with it.  The problem is the penultimate chapter is stuck in rewrite hell.  I went through this with chapter 11, where nothing sounded right no matter what I did, and I finally gave up when I no longer had the will to delete it all and start over anymore.  I’m on the third version of chapter 23, and I keep looking at it and going blehhh.  But this time, it’s a matter of me pigeonholing myself with my POV choice.  This chapter could be so easily fixed by switching the POV character for about 1500 words, but I don’t want to do that.

It’s one of those furious cases where I know exactly how I want it to be, but I can’t seem to make it be that.  I’m gonna cry.
