So, I suppose I should do a proper post
Nov. 15th, 2012 03:40 amAbout three o'clock this morning, my computer started dicking up so I decided maybe it was time for bed. As I was packing up shop, Mama Bear came out here and was all surprised that I was still up. More surprising was that she was up that early. She went out to the kitchen to go mess about with her medication, so I figured she was having heartburn issues and thought nothing of it.
A few minutes later, as I was in the bedroom trying to convince Dexter to gtfo the bed without messing up his stomach and tearing his sutures, Mama Bear came back out of her bedroom and started turning all the lights back on, so I left Dexter where he was and came back out here. By now, she was dressed in sweats and jeans, and I was wondering wtf was going on. She said that she wasn't feeling well and that Papa Bear was going to take her into hospital. So, they did that and things were weird.
Then, later that morning when Papa Bear was going back to the hospital to bring her home, he was stopped at a light, as you do, when someone rear-ended him. He's fine, the car is mostly fine, minus some superficial damage around the number plate. But oh man, that's the sort of day we had.
Mama Bear's also fine, apparently. They couldn't find anything wrong with her or any reason why she should have been feeling like she was. I have been told that should I see her up at 3am again tonight, that it's only because she went to bed at six in the evening.
In other news, some of you from the Yuletide chat may remember me complaining about wanting some fingerless gloves. I now have two pairs! One hideous, bright orange and slightly home-made pair, from some cheap gloves and a pair of scissors. The other ones are really nice, and not actually gloves, but wrist warmers. But I have a choice now, and no more freezing fingers while I'm Minecrafting!
