Free Comics!
May. 4th, 2013 06:46 pmWe got ours today. Tiny little shop, and we could only take four, where Alternate Reality let you take eight. Between Robin Hood and I, we have six, plus an Iron Man Heroclix thing, and a calendar. Which may not have actually been free, but when I went up to the counter, the guy didn't even look at our stuff. So, we might have stolen a calendar.
They also had out loads of old boxes, bags and boards, dividers, and posters. We loaded up on those, since we're always short of all these things and you can never have too many posters. Today was a good score. Now I'm gonna go read Judge Dredd and 2000 AD. Both of which made me happy, because they were free, and titles I follow normally.
I was surprised there weren't more Marvel titles. Just a Wolverine one, I think. Ah, well.
