Well, today I learned that it is impossible to paste text into a field that already has text in it while using Firefox's mobile browser, without getting out my keyboard. It just completely has a mental breakdown if I try using the touch and hold + Android's built in keyboard. And speaking of the keyboard, I need to get some double-stick tape to hold it together.

Anyway, [personal profile] glamjam wants me to talk about dessert today. I don't know why, because I'm very weird about sweets. My mum made this massive chocolate cake for my birthday last week, and I only had one piece of it. I mean, I do enjoy a good chocolate cake, but it's not something I enjoy eating. That sounds daft. Let me start over.

It's not that I don't like sweets. I have a massive bag of Halloween candy that I took from this year's party, and there's still half a pound of Swedish Fish somewhere around here. I just prefer savoury flavours to sweet ones. My idea of dessert is another round of breadsticks.

Actually, breadsticks sounds really good right now. There's some frozen dough in the freezer that I could bring out to thaw, and then I could have the breadsticks I never got for my birthday. Also tempting is running across the street to Pizza Schmizza. I bet they have breadsticks.

God, I want breadsticks.

There are still a lot of slots left for this month, because I'm late to the game. Go add things! http://loki-of-sassgaard.dreamwidth.org/47708.html

I am so sick of winter. I had to go return something to Walmart today, and spent not as much time in Customer Service line as I'd expected to. They had a guy just camping the line, doing all of the scans and question-asking right there while we were waiting. Then he printed off this ticket, and all we had to do was give the ticket to the person behind the counter, and they'd scan it and give you either your money back, or an exchange slip, depending on what you wanted. That was surprising.

Also surprising: Not a single pair of earmuffs to be found in that entire store. I looked for about twenty minutes before giving up and just getting a faux-leather bombmer hat instead. It's too cold for a ballcap, and my ears act like they're gonna fall off any time I go outside. And then I also got about 40 new pairs of socks, because I'm always out of socks, and the most pathetic sandwich from Subway ever. All I can taste is the bread, and occasionally a hint of cucumber. Annoying.

But oh man, my knees are going to explode. Even the one that doesn't normally bug me is bugging me today. I'm going to try to avoid going up and down the stairs as much as possible, because every time I do, it's to a chorus of "Ow fuck ow." The rest of the day shall be spent curled up in bed, possibly working on fic. I've got two set in the dead of winter, so at least I have plenty of inspiration to draw from there.
