That is not even remotely cute

Minor beef with deviantART right now.

They apparently discourage the use of AdBlock to such an extreme measure that they've deliberately coded their site to break in really weird ways if you use it. Ways like, for instance, if you use it to block out flashy icons, the comment threads attached to those icons become utterly incomprehensible.

My response when I reported this: disable AdBlock.

Except, as I said in my original message, I'm using AdBlock to get rid of icons that fucking hurt my head. AdBlock is for more than just ads, and it's severely irritating that the people behind dA are so desperate for those clicks that they'd not even care about this sort of thing. In theory, those icons are against the rules, but you see them all over the forums where admins apparently lurked, because they sure as fuck shot down my thread about this problem in a hurry.

Well, I'm not sure this day could possibly take a nastier turn

One of us would have to get hit by lightning or something, I think. It's not even 11am yet. What is this shit?

Excerpt from a thing I wrote

In which I very secretly make a James Bond reference.

Tony only had two cars in the garage at Stark Tower, so his choice was between the Lamborghini Aventador or the Audi R8. Tony got into the Spyder.

"No, Tony. I have to call the office back at three o'clock and it's now..." Pepper glanced quickly down at her watch. "It's now two-forty-eight. I just need you to look over the proposal and--"

Tony started the engine, the Audi's V-10 echoing off the concrete walls with a fearsome growl that drowned out anything else Pepper had to say.

"Don't wait up," Tony said.

Revving the engine once more, Tony backed out of the parking space and sped away in a whirlwind of screeching tyres and screaming cylinders.
